For projects with a limited budget, scope of service or for the client who is inspired by design and would like to research and purchase items on their own, DFI offers a Style Guide service.  With this service, clients typically provide measurements for their spaces, concept images and a budget in an effort to save time and cost. DFI will set-up an initial meeting, measure existing furniture that you would like to keep and review the programming needs with you before beginning work.  A sample scope of services include the following and can be done in phases or together as one phase:

GUIDE 1

To get started, DFI will create floor plan options showing the sizing of furniture and the placement of new and existing furniture within your room or space. Schematic drawings to show any casework options or ways to problem solve certain areas can be produced as needed.

GUIDE 2

After approving a plan in Guide 1, DFI will suggest furniture, fabric, area rug and lighting options that you can purchase directly from retail stores or websites. DFI will provide tear sheets and a budget so you have all the information you need for purchasing.

GUIDE 3

To finish the room or space, DFI will suggest artwork and accent pillows to give your space a personal touch. DFI can also help you accessorize your room using your existing pieces and suggest new pieces to incorporate
